Their prestigious organization pioneered the concept of community- based outpatient, multidisciplinary cancer centers and give local communities access to leading edge technology that was previously only available in larger metro areas.

Details on position:

  • Establish and maintain crucial relationships with major employers and employer associations in the State of Texas.
  • Maintain crucial contacts with Federal and State healthcare policy makers, key medical societies who influence policy.
  • Establish and maintain crucial relationships with C-Level management and medical directors at major commercial payers.
  • Establish critical relationships with key hospital or PCP group partners seeking to develop ACOs or similar integrated care models.

Key Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Health Management, Business, or related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years managed care contracting (payer or provider side) experience.
  • Oncology contracting preferred but not required.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with payors and providers.
  • Strong public speaking and presentations to C-suite and Executive Boards.
