They have engaged our firm to help them identify a visionary leader to help take their ER services to the next level.
The position reports directly to the CNO and will have an educator and several shift coordinators reporting to it.
This position will provide clinical leadership and manages the daily operations of a 35-bed, 55,000 visits per year Emergency Department to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. The manager will foster an environment of accountability and commitment to quality and safety standards over 85 FTE’s, with various shifts, as well as delivering exceptional customer service to patients and families. Key responsibilities include managing staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
